Matthews Memorial Baptist Church

Solar Energy Services was engaged by solar developer Together Solar, LLC to design, build, and maintain this 183 kW rooftop solar project in SE Washington DC. SES worked with the building owner to design a system to maximize their economic benefit. SES worked closely with the Administration to develop a plan to safely build the system while the building was in use daily as a Day Care center and a House of Worship. The entire project was constructed while the building was occupied with only minimal interference with the Church’s ongoing operations. Once commissioned, the Church began to achieve substantial energy savings from the project financed by Together Solar.
