Michelle has been an environmentalist at heart her entire life. She was raised on a farm in upper Baltimore County and from an early age developed a love for the outdoors. During high school she spent much of her time helping with the animals while in the 4H Club. From the early 1980s until the year 2000, her career was spent running her own successful interior design and remodeling business in Tampa, Florida. It was here that she learned the value of developing honest and lasting relationships with her customers.
Michelle and her husband returned to Maryland in 2001 to be closer to family, and she took a position as a buyer in a garden center. During her 20-year career at Homestead Gardens she was a member and served two years as a Division Leader of the East Coast Garden Centers Association.
Today, Michelle’s focus is on helping the Delmarva community receive efficient and affordable renewable energy and helping to reduce our community’s imprint on the environment. The Solar Energy experience is a perfect fit for her at this time in her life, and she looks forward to sharing part of the journey with you.
