Debre Haile Kedus Church

Solar Energy Services was engaged by solar developer Together Solar, LLC to design, build, and maintain this 141 kW rooftop solar project in NE Washington DC. SES worked with the building owner to design around some future rooftop architectural enhancements, taking into consideration the shading impacts from this future structure. SES constructed the system while the building was occupied, while insuring minimal interference with the Debre Haile Kedus Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church’s ongoing operations. Once commissioned, the Church began to achieve substantial energy savings from the project financed by Together Solar.
